GarnijaNru6 is located in the rustic village of Sannat. It is situated right at the peripheraryof Sannat, 5 minutes walk from the largest open nature reserve on the island, which is renowned for its walks along the spectacular south facing cliffs and views of the archipelago across the Gozo channel.
The cliffs are the home to the local Yelkouan Shearwater bird called Garnija in Maltese, for which the apartment is named after. A walk on the cliffs will surely help in glimpsing these beautiful birds.
Ta' Sannat is also situated about 5 mins by car from Rabat Victoria, 10 mins from Mgarr ix-Xini, a pristine beach, where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie filmed their film By The Sea and 10 mins by car from Xlendi another village where one can swim and eat at the various superb restaurants there.

She also left us some welcome food supplies as we arrived on a Sunday. Sannat is a quiet, residential area and you need transport if you want to eat out in the evenings. We found the best way to see Gozo was on bikes. The weather was sunny and warm and the spring flowers were delightful.”

“Leann’s apartment was a great place to enjoy Gozo for a few days (but even for longer stays it would be an excellent place). The apartment is a delight, it has nice, stylishly decorated spaces, it corresponds perfectly with the pictures (is even better to be honest). The equipment is excellent, Lina has been taking into account every detail. What we appreciated a lot, is the fact that Lina did explain everything very well, communication was prompt and correct, there were no misunderstandings. There were different information files in the apartment, with precise information about the apartment, the village, the TV, the garbage etc. And: a full brochure with hiking possibilities and full documentation on the routes you could take. The apartment is located in a small town (Sannat) very near Ta Cenc cliffs. The town is very quiet (no noise at night), it has a small shop and a butcher near the apartment, there are some restaurants in the bigger area. We did everything on public transport or by foot, there is a bus stop (bus to Victoria/Rabat) close to the apartment, and for the hikers amongst you, distances on Gozo are limited. From the apartment, you can easily access a footpath to the cliffs and to other nice places (Mgarr-Ix-Xini or Xlendi for example) and enjoy a great walk. We loved our stay and would recommend this apartment without any doubt. We hope to be back in Gozo in some time and we already know where to stay!”
